Open Art Histories Pedagogy Institute
Brought forth by Open Art Histories, a collaborative platform for visual arts and museum studies instructors to share academic resources, the Open Art Histories Pedagogy Institute is a conference set to be held at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON between June 16-18, 2022. The conference will create a space for art educators to consult with one another on teaching practices and assignments. By doing so, the conference hopes to influence discussion on how to make the art community more diverse and accessible and work towards a more meaningful, post-colonial method of teaching art history.
